Today we had our annual Halloween party! The students all put on their hats and brought their Halloween bags they made and decorated to the party. There were many interesting hats and bags that the students made. Then, the students split up into different groups to play games. The first and second graders played “Hot Pumpkin” where they passed around a pumpkin while music played. If they were holding the pumpkin when the music stopped, they had to sit down. The third and fourth graders played the “Telephone Game” where they stood in a line, and the first person to would get a keyword monster from the teacher. Then they would pass it back the line until the last person held up the correct monster picture. The fifth and sixth graders participated in a “Monster Scavenger Hunt” where they looked throughout the school for hidden monsters. After these games, all the students went to different classrooms and trick-or-treated to get candy from the teachers. We had a lot of fun!
