Akkam! Welcome to the 5^th grade World Expo! Today the second graders ‘traveled’ around the world to learn about different countries from their 5^th grade friends! Each 5^th grade class split into groups and researched one country to present about. Each group also had a special mission or game for the 2^nd graders to try! Today we practiced phrases like, ‘You can see Big Ben!’ ‘You can eat tacos!’ ‘You can visit Machu Pichu!’ After the 2^nd graders finished with their mission, they received a stamp in their handmade passports and got a gift from each country. It was so much fun, and everyone learned a lot! The English teachers are so proud of the students’ hard work and can’t wait to learn even more about different countries next year!
