Today was the last day of English Camp. In the morning, we went outside had some time to do stretches. Next, we practiced our skits for the contest with our English teachers. After our practice, we had presentations in front of everybody. Each group showed creative skits, and everybody enjoyed their own as well as their friends’ presentations. At the closing ceremony, the winners for the skits, and the rogaining activity played on the first day were awarded. Then all the English teachers gave students certificates, and a student representative gave a wonderful speech to close the ceremony. We had a fun last lunch with our English teachers before we left. We all had fun all three days!

Today was the second day of English Camp for the sixth graders. We woke up and did some morning stretches. Then, we ate breakfast with our English teachers. After that, we had fun doing an activity called "English World." We went around and visited many shops, like a restaurant, a water stand, a clothing store, pretend immigration, a baseball signature stand, and a doctor. All the students had to use English to complete the conversations at each station. When we finished, we rode the bus to a location to make curry with our English teachers. We cut the vegetables and meat and made the rice all by ourselves. Then we enjoyed eating together. When we returned to our hotel, we went on a short walk to the Sengen Shrine and took group pictures. After that, we played outside for a little bit to relax. Next, we took baths and then started to work on our skits for the next day's presentation. Once that was finished, we had supper and then worked some more on our skits, wrote thank you letters to our English teachers, and then finished the day by writing in our journals.

Today we started our first day of English Camp with the 6th graders. We rode on the bus with our new native English speaking teachers and played games. We played games and talked a lot. We saw Mt. Fuji from the bus and at the hotel. At the opening ceremony, our English teachers introduced themselves and a student representative gave a speech to start off English camp. Then, we had lunch and started our first English lesson. We used our notebooks that we had made in English class to introduce ourselves to our new teachers. Next, we did a rogaining activity; it was like a scavenger hunt for English clues. After that, we had another English lesson, and then had dinner. Lastly, we played games and sang songs by a big campfire outside, and then we finished the day by writing in our journals about the day's activities in English.
