We finally finished our second day at English Camp. We had fun playing with our teachers doing many English activities. After that, we discussed many issues in English debates. Then we went to Sengen Shrine with our teachers, and saw some very beautiful scenery. When we came back, we took a bath and practiced our plays. Then we ate dinner and then practiced some more for our skits. Last, we wrote thank you letters to our teachers and our second day's journal. We are super excited to put on our skits tomorrow. This morning, everyone woke up early to start our second day at English Camp. After we woke up, we did a little bit of exercise and then went to eat breakfast. After breakfast we practiced some phrases for our English World activity and did role playing activities. Then, half of us worked on our skits for tomorrow, and the other half of us took part in the English World activity. We just finished lunch after ordering our food from our teachers. Now we are playing outside before we start our afternoon activities.

 

We just finished our first day at English Camp 2020. We arrived at school and got on the bus right away. When we arrived, we gave our opening ceremony speech as well as our school introduction speech. For lunch, we ate wonderful curry and then immediately started our English speaking practice lessons. We shared our self-introduction notebooks with our new native English teacher. We also practiced country names and had quizzes on world information. After that, we took group photos with our teachers and then shared our self-introduction notebooks with the teachers from other groups as well! Then we started work on our play that we will perform on the last day of this English Camp. After having delicious chicken for dinner, we enjoyed taking part in fun English activities like Pictionary and Guess-That-Picture. Last, we wrote our first day's activities in our journals. Tomorrow, we look forward to having even more fun!

 

We made it to English Camp! It has been a little rainy, but the children of Showa Elementary School are having lots of fun learning new things in English! We just finished eating a wonderful dinner at 6:30.

林間学校２日目は尾瀬ハイキングを行いました。心地よい秋の風に吹かれながら、ガイドさんの案内で緑の中を楽しく歩くことができました。自然を間近に感じられるハイキングは貴重な体験となったことでしょう。

宿舎に帰ってからは、キャンプファイヤーで楽しいひと時を過ごしました。
