Today, we tried many new things. We bought some snacks during morning tea. It was a little difficult to order in English, but we did it! After recess, we went to the library and found some books to read. We played dodgeball during lunch recess. It was so fun! We also tried to explain how to make things using origami. We are really enjoying our Australian school and homestay!

 

 

It is our third day at All Saints Grammar School. In the morning, we played math games and kahoot games. We learned about Australian food and the animals that live in Australia. We also taught some Japanese words to our teacher.

After lunch, our buddies went to another school for sports activities. So we had a special PE lesson in the gym. We enjoyed playing sports like football, cricket, basketball, and rugby. We had so much fun!

夏の学校も今日が最終日です。

ホテルを出てからは「ぐんま昆虫の森」に向かい、たくさんの昆虫と出会ってきました。

また来年も待ってますよ！

夏の学校２日目です。

今日は朝から天候が思わしくなく、朝の虫取りや川遊びをすることができませんでした。

しかし、川遊びの代わりに近くの体育館での遊びや、ホテルの裏の広場で行った水遊びには子どもたちも大はしゃぎ。

夜にはナイトハイクで灯火採集を行いました。今日も大きな怪我なく過ごせてよかったです。

Today was our second day attending All Saints Grammar School. In the morning, our buddies came to pick us up and we went to our classroom together. We took classes like: Math, English, and Religion. Some of them were difficult to understand, but our buddies and teachers helped us a lot! We did our best. We also enjoyed playing outside with our friends during recess. We are excited to come to school tomorrow because we will have sports day.
